The existence of well-trained system administrator is the key to
have a satisfying FLOWSYS installation.
This training here is special for the system administrators and
to show them the inside of the system.
As a matter of course we expect the system administrators to be
part of all other training too, so we don't have to repeat the user's
basic's here too.

- The FLOWSYS server hardware
- The FLOWSYS in-house network
- How the architecture of the Real Time Database works Monitor
the FLOWSYS processes
- The database contents (tables, data dictionaries, description
of data fields)
- Handle the Server2000 application
- The different kinds of authorizations on the server How to backup
/ restore the server

Objectives:

The system administrator:
- Has the best knowledge about FLOWSYS on site Is able to help
all other users
- Can fix most of the problems / or is able to localize a problem
very precisely
- Is able to customize all standard FLOWSYS reports
- Can define: users, equipment, work codes on the server
- Knows basicly how to extract data from the database

Participants:

System administrators should have some basic knowledge before visiting
a system administrator training. A special documentation is available
about pre-conditions a system
administrator should have before he/she joins this training.

Lessons:
|
The lessons are based in a classroom, where details are explained
and overviews are shown. But it is necessary as well to explore
all systems and components on-site. Your experience has shown us
that 80% of the training are on-site, watching and checking the
system and to talk with the users.

Very important is also the system administrator training for the
FLOWSYS shop floor functionalities.
There are more trainings specially when system administrator are
also responsible to program customer specific
solutions and reports.
Most important is also the deepening
of knownledge.
